HIIT and Relax

New Yoga classes have started on Sundays at Elite Fitness.  Take a Punk Rope class for your cardio workout and follow it with a Yoga class to relax your body and soul.

Punk Rope at 4pm – A group fitness experience with lots of interaction.  It is interval training that combines jumping rope, body-weight exercises, and relay races.

“It’s like recess crossed with boot camp,” says Tim Haft, Punk Rope’s founder. “It’s intense, but you’re laughing and having fun so you don’t realize that you’re working out.”

Beginner Yoga at 5pm – In this class the basic, foundational yoga postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers. Beginner level/Basic.

Special Rate- Take both classes in one day for only $10.

Classes are regularly $7 each.
